Hello World

This is a test. Think of it as an test of WordPress analytics. No really, you're participating in it right now. I'm curious who's reading this thing we call QuickTestingTips. Here's your mission - should you choose to accept it...

There are two steps:

Right NOW: leave a comment on this post. Be sure to include a link to your web page, blog, or twitter feed - your choice. Something that lets the world know who you are. Say anything, just don't say you don't like the site. That's not cool. We're fragile.
Tomorrow: Come back and see who posted. Check out who they are. Follow them on twitter or RSS their blog. Connect to someone new - who you've never seen or heard before.

I'll likely turn off comments after the first day. (Otherwise it's not a very effective measurement is it?)

Update: I didn't turn off comments. I figured it would be better to let the links continue. Please post!

Uh, hi. I don’t generally leave blog comments, nor do I post a lot on my own blog (pesartain.com/blog) or even twitter (@pesartain) but I have had some awesome tips go past my nose from here. My favourite recently was charters over test cases. I work in java/c/c++ embedded systems environments, where UI, unit, CI and automated testing isn’t always easy/applicable to our systems, so generic testing tips really help. Keep it up, please

I do read Quick Testing Tips, which I find updates to using the Bloggers feed on the Software Testing Club, which I recommend for the purporses of finding new testers to follow/interact with.

I read Quick Testing Tips a few times a week. Great stuff! The recent tip on using Pivotal Tracker for SBTM is one that I plan to experiment with using.

For those who don’t know me, I’ve been testing and helping deliver quality software for a couple of decades. Despite this longevity, I only recently caved and setup a Twitter account. I will endeavor to tweet better

Surprised to see so few comments in ~1 month.
1. Need to verify this list is a part of leading testing RSS aggregators (I like SQA Planet, and SWTesters by Rosie Sherry (though I don’t get to read all items due to time limitations).

2. I was wondering where can we get a DB of USEFUL testing tips (preferably ranked), and how to propagate it into testers daily work.
My guess is – if we could convince Bug Trackers and ALM SW developers to incorporate these (common and company specific tips) where testers need to be on daily basis (when writing bugs, writing test docs, and while executing tests) – it would be best.
